Severe Duty motors are available from 0.75 – 600 kW (800 HP). These products are especially designed for those applications requiring protection of the motors from severe environmental operating conditions. Severe Duty motors are designed to provide exceptional performance and long life in harsh industrial processing applications. A few typical applications which might require these types of motors include petro-chemical plants, mines, foundries, pulp and paper plants, waste management facilities, rock crushers, and chemical plants. These premium construction motors include features designed to protect against contamination, moisture, vibration and demanding duty cycles. 

High voltage induction motors are available as N-series configured to order motors and A-series engineered motors.
N-series configured to order motors combine cost-efficient standardized designs and short lead times with safety, productivity, energy efficiency and reliability. They are targeted at applications where a highly customized motor is not needed.

NMK slip-ring motors are available in 400, 450, 500, 560, 630 and 710 frame sizes with output power of up to 10,000 kilowatts (kW).
