THE TRADITION OF THE VIENNIAN BALLO COMES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TIRANA
Today more than 400 balls are organized every year in Vienna with a record number of visitors. The Viennese Ball has become a successful cultural export and is organized more than 30 times a year in the most important world metropolises, such as Athens, Berlin, Brussels, London, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Paris, Beijing, Prague, Rome, Tokyo, Zurich, etc.
The Viennese Ball is organized for the first time in Tirana, on the occasion of the Albania-Austria Cultural Year 2018 and focuses on Austrian culture and Austrian-Albanian friendship, as well as the contribution to the YWCA cause against breast cancer in Albania.
Experience the real experience of a Viennese ball, the magic of the Waltz, the wonderful music and artistic performances by personalities of Austrian and Albanian culture.
With the participation of Mr. Uwe Theimer, choir director at the Vienna State Opera, mezzo-soprano of the Opera and Ballet Theater, Vikena Kamenica and renowned tenor Armaldo Kllogjeri. The melodic sounds of the Qerimi family will not be missing, as well as the interpretation of Enada Hoxha and Gerd Vasos and the young people of the Tirana Ballet School.
